Recent Bug Fixes

Hi all-- thought I'd let you know what's been fixed in the last few days.
EDIT: Fairly ugly browsing by language is now available.
Lots of minor cross-browser layout bugs. BTW, <4% of you are using Internet Explorer of any stripe, which makes me happy.
Problem with updated field. There is a little bit of usage info hooked onto the database row for each scrap. Changing this was interpreted as a 'hit.'
Some searches that resemble broken regular expressions screwed up the search term highlighting and caused a 500 error. I had to add a line of code to the alpha of Haystack to get this to work.
Coming soon:
Browsing by language and license, ranked by popularityEDIT: Still coming: browsing by licenseBasic version history

Because you're using AdBlock. Don't get me wrong, I don't really mind, but that's why.

I find it kind of worrisome that I seem to be the most prolific contributor and almost all other users have only one or two scraps each. Am I misunderstanding the purpose of this site, are they misunderstanding it, or are foobook.org/{user}/scraps/ URLs just prone to repeated errors?

jwodder-
You're doing just fine. But this is a beta that hasn't taken off yet-- there are only 300-something users. I wish they were all like you!

Hey Alan, I really want to start contributing some great C# and WPF snippets here, but I can't find the WPF category. I realize that the code language is in fact XAML, but I'm afraid people might not realize this when searching.
Maybe you should create a category called WPF?

This comment box looks like it's too far from the above post. Also, it's too wide. Maybe make it 15px smaller from the right.
